Q: How will the merger impact product, services, and pricing?
We’ll continue to look for ways to improve on the procurement and delivery of all of our products and services. To date, Countryside and Landmark have already proven success in combined fertilizer procurement efforts that have resulted in added value to both cooperatives and our members.
Q: How will the new cooperative maintain the local feel when doubling in size?
Providing exemplary service and caring about our customers and members in our local communities will always be a top priority. You will still be working with local staff and our helpful and talented cooperative resources.
Q: Is my salesperson going to have time for me after the expansion?
Absolutely! Our expectation is that the merger will improve our member customer experience.
Q: Are you going to raise my prices now?
Pricing of products and commodities are largely driven by the ag markets, and the merger itself will not raise your prices. Our goal is to always look to drive value to our members and their operations.
Q: Will I see a discount now that you are larger?
The pricing of products and services are largely driven by the ag markets, but as a larger cooperative we’ll have the ability to leverage our combined purchasing power to procure products more efficiently. We will strive to drive mutual profitability for our members and our cooperative.
Q: What will happen to my existing order(s), contract(s), pricing, quote(s)?
Existing contracts, orders and pricing will be honored under the terms of those agreements.
Q: Will the products and services offered by Countryside or Landmark change?
We’ll continue to look for ways to improve our services to our members and the products that we sell.
Q: How will the new cooperative procure products, and does that mean any delay in my product deliveries?
We will procure products in an efficient manner to reduce the possibility of delays. By combining our resources, we have more pipeline capacity to minimize any potential disruptions related to products associated with our animal nutrition, energy, grain and agronomy operations.
